Isibuko Development Planners has been actively involved in developing and capacitating local government structures since the introduction of the current local government regime. Local government is closer to the communities. As such, it should be able to undertake its constitutional responsibilities effectively and efficiently. This includes undertaking development planning, delivery of services and coordinating development within their areas of jurisdiction. The company has participated in a number of initiatives intended to provide support and build the capacity of local government in this regard.


Municipal Capacity Building Programme implemented through the erstwhile Umsekeli. Isibuko was responsible for developing systems and procedures, and capacitating planning staff in Impendle and Imbabazane Municipalities
